For our international client in the area of Venlo, we are looking for a
Fleet Service Specialist ( Fulltime)
As a Fleet Service Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure the repair and maintenance of the entire trailer fleet. You will receive around 150 case reports about trailers daily, which you will handle alongside your team. Additionally, you will work on approximately 20 MOT (APK) trailer schedules each day, contributing to the smooth operation of their transportation network.
Impact and Role: In this diverse role, you will serve as a crucial link between workshops, manufacturers, planning departments across various our client product organizations, and their fleet control team. Building strong relationships with workshops within Europe will be essential, as you collaborate on solving technical issues, conducting commercial checkups of cases, and identifying new high-quality workshops.
Technically, you will be responsible for understanding damage reports and MOT (APK) planning to make informed decisions regarding maintenance, repairs, and efficiency in collaboration with workshops. You will carry out complete case processes and closures, making responsible choices for resolutions.
Traveling will be an integral part of your role, enabling you to build and maintain strong relationships with workshops. Their fleet control department will provide you with valuable data and professional insights to support your work at a high level.
Onboarding and Growth Opportunities: They offer a thorough onboarding process, where you will receive training at workshops for the first four months. This training will cover various planning departments within our client and provide practical experience of their multimodal network. You will visit outdoor offices and essential locations within their network, such as ferry and rail terminals, to gain a comprehensive understanding.
As a Fleet Service Specialist, you have the potential to grow into a Senior Service Specialist or a Senior Fleet Engineer position. You will be involved in technical cooperation with customers, contracted workshops, and manufacturers, contributing to product improvements.
