For our client, an international company in Venlo, we are looking for a

Transport Planner Healthcare (Fulltime)

What does your workday look like?

Every day, within a small team, you are active with and responsible for the optimal planning of equipment and routes. The shipments are transported throughout Europe using their own extensive fleet of vehicles. Your job is to ensure maximum customer satisfaction through watertight planning.You’re on it!

How you do this? Our client has a wide range of transport modes and is set to expand further into the healthcare and pharma sectors in 2023. A great opportunity to use your knowledge and experience to build a whole new transport branch, in which you will play a crucial role.

Your responsibilities are:

• Drawing up and keeping up-to-date an optimal capacity planning, making use of the available fleet, for example refrigerated transport or trailers equipped for high value cargo;
• Monitoring shipments from pick-up to delivery and providing information on the goods to be loaded, routes and transport documents;
• Maintaining very close contact with external partners on current shipments and proactively informing customers and keeping them up to date on issues and requests, among other things;
• Processing additional administration in the system, such as orders and transport documents.

• Education equivalent to a MBO level or degree;
• Passion and enthusiasm for transport and logistics;
• Some experience with planning road transport. Do you not yet have any experience with planning pharma, healthcare and GDP transports? Then we will teach you the tricks of the trade!
• Accurate and structured way of working;
• Good command in English is a must;
• Good command in Dutch is a plus;
• Avaible for 40 hours a week.
