For our client a international logistics company in Venlo, we are looking for a
WMS Engineer
You are a pioneer in the field of logistics information systems and applications. As a WMS Engineer, you are the architect behind efficient logistics processes at their sites in South-East Netherlands. With your focus on setup and optimization, you ensure that your colleagues in the warehouses can work smoothly and efficiently, taking into account customer-specific requirements. Within their dynamic and flat organization, you are the link to the future of logistics services. You are not afraid of challenges.
You responsibilities: are:
Set up, test, and implement new customers and their associated processes in their warehouse management system;
Translate operational and external customer requirements into detailed system specifications for their IT developers;
Actively participate in large-scale automation projects and other initiatives to improve the logistics process;
Provide operational support to key users and troubleshooters, ensuring flawless execution of activities related to the WMS system;
Continuously improve and standardize processes, both within your department and in collaboration with internal and external partners.
Function requirements
HBO work- and thinking level;
Degree in logistics management, supply chain, engineering, technical business administration, or a similar field;
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position;
You have expertise in logistic data analysis, processes, and systems;
And also an affinity for logistics automation and mechanization;
You communicate clearly and effectively, both with internal and external stakeholders;
Good command of the English language both verbally and in writing;
Available for 40 hours per week.
